Lost Ring Recovered in Louisburg KS

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Kara attended an outdoor wedding and after the ceremony realized her unique silver ring was missing.  Lots of folks looked for it under a massive party tent but came up with nothing.  They searched again to no avail as the tent and setup were dismantled the next day.

Wisely, she got on the internet, found TheRingFinders and subsequently contacted me.  We carefully set boundaries for a grid search and voila!  15 minutes and we swung right over the ring, very near where she was sitting.  This is one she couldn’t replace so it had a huge sentimental value for her.

It is so satisfying to be a part of the story.

Platinum Diamond Wedding Ring Found on Florida Beach, Returned to the Owner!

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

This is so crazy and so unlikely but ever detail is true. Recently, I was hunting a Florida beach and found a gorgeous Tacori Platinum wedding band with multiple diamonds in the band.

As I was filming my good fortune I was approached by a young woman who said their had been people looking for a lost ring the day prior.  We searched for them on the beach but could not find them.  Grasping for straws, I thought to ask the attendant at the stand where they rent umbrellas and beach chairs.  Sure enough, the folks looking for that ring left their contact information with him.

He took my business card, contacted the woman who lost the ring, and within just a few minutes I got a call from Jennifer.  She described the ring perfectly and was  overwhelmed with joy at the prospect of getting her family heirloom back.  What a stroke of good fortune!!  30 minutes later she was reunited with her lost keepsake and we had a touching moment together with her daughter.

What an awesome hobby that let’s me be involved in this sort of joy.  I never tire of it 😊

Diamond Anniversary Ring Found in South Johnson County

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Emily lost her 5 year wedding anniversary ring at a local winery on Friday night.  She looked over and over for it to no avail.  She sought assistance from the staff at the winery and even bought her own metal detector but none of her efforts produced the ring.  During a discussion of the events at work, one of her coworkers suggested The Ringfinders.

She contacted me and within a few hours we were at the location retracing her steps.  When that didn’t work, I began a grid search of the expansive gravel parking lot.  The painstaking attention to detail paid off as 45 minutes into to the grid, I heard the familiar staccato of a surface target.  Platinum with 5 diamonds, Emily’s precious family keepsake was right under my coil.

She was beside herself with joy when she got the news that her ring was safe.  Returning these irreplaceable treasures is an honor and deeply satisfying to be involved in.  Another happy (understatement) customer!

After a recent arctic blast, Ted cleaned the snow off a car in his driveway, then departed in his own car parked on the street.  Shortly after, he realized his wedding band was missing.  He contacted me and we braved the 15 degree temps looking for his ring.  No luck in the driveway but wouldn’t you know, right on the snow packed street, I swung over a strong signal.  He was fortunate the snowplow didn’t move it.  I am fortunate to have another happy (but cold) customer!
