Chaz & Jill took their kids up to a cabin in northern Minnesota for the Labor Day weekend. Jill was in the water playing with the kids, when she got out, she noticed her diamond wedding ring was not on her finger. She wasn’t sure exactly when or where it came off, though with the colder water in Minnesota it’s a safe bet that it came off in the water. Chaz got on the internet and searched « how to recover a lost ring » and up popped theringfinders.com web site. He called me and we discussed the situation, the ring was most likely in shallow water and not to weedy or mucky. So, I drove up and hopped in the water. There was a lot of trash to remove, about an hour & half into the search I found that beautiful white gold diamond ring.

Lost Necklace Found Scuba Diving Wisconsin Metal Detecting
Joe was at a local swim beach on the St. Croix River. He was watching some kids doing handstands in the water and thought he would give it a try. He forgot about the 3.5-ounce gold necklace around his neck. As he tried the handstand his necklace slipped off into the water. He was standing in approx. 5 feet deep of water. His wife noted exactly where he was when the necklace slipped off. He searched by hand and also tried racking the area into shallow water though he just couldn’t find it. He talked to a couple of local divers who seemed a bit shady and decided on the ring finders. Joe found me on theringfinders.com website and we planned the next day for a scuba search. Scuba searching allows me the benefit of quick recovery, always getting the target that my detector locates and seeing what I’m dealing with. Such as old cans, iron chains, junk etc. I searched the area for approx. a half an hour when I got that beautiful « Gold tone » from my Excalibur metal detector. I cleared away the thin layer of sand and muck and could see the shine of gold from the sun’s reflection. I know how much this necklace meant to Joe, he was truly heartbroken and didn’t think there was much of a chance of recovery – What a great feeling to put the gold necklace back in his hands. :O)

Wedding band lost Minnesota Lake scuba metal detecting found
Anna & her husband were spending some time up at a friend’s cabin in Minnesota. While playing football in the water, her husband’s white gold wedding band was knocked off and lost in the lake. After searching the area as best as they could, they had given up hope of ever finding it. A couple years later they were talking with friends about the incident, one of their friends suggested theringfinders.com – So Anna checked online and gave me a call. The water level was about 3 – 4 feet where he lost it. I figured a shallow water scuba dive would give me the best chance at retrieval. We met up at the cabin and after many shot-gun shells & pull tabs, I found the ring about 5 feet from the dock in approx. 4 feet of water. Congrats on the ring!!!!!

Lost Apple Watch Scuba dive recovery Minnesota
A young lady was jumping off a high dive platform at a local swimming beach. The pressure of hitting the water unsnapped her Apple watch that her grandfather gave to her. She was truly devastated at the loss and thought it was gone forever. Her boyfriend looked for help online and found theringfinders.com – He called me, and I set up a day to scuba and detect for the lost watch. It was found in approx. 20 feet of water and though low on battery power, the watch was still working perfectly.

Lost Heirloom ring at the fall festival, FOUND!!!
Lire lost her ring at the fall festival and was heartbroken, her friend contacted me and we set up a search time. Lire couldn’t meet me, though she gave a good description of the place she lost it. It took quite a while, though I finally found it. I did not get a picture with her smile, as my phone battery lost power before she was able to meet me. Luckily I took a Picture of the ring prior.
