This ring find began last night when I got a call from Ethan who was visiting from Texas and enjoying the waters of Paradise Cove Beach with his wife Laule’a. Ethan said while his wife was splashing water on him in shallow knee deep water her White Gold & Diamonds Engagement ring flew off and disappeared in the soft sand. The call came in around 8PM and it was already getting dark. Ethan and I did a FaceTime so he could show me where they were on the beach. I asked him to draw a line from where they were seated down to the water where the ring came off. That way when I arrived at first light I would be able to start hunting. When I arrived it was a very low tide so the ring would be even shallower. After about 15 minutes the Manticore got a great tone and in one scoop there was Laule’a’s stunning ring in the scoop. I texted a picture to Ethan but got no response. I found out later they were exhausted and had slept in. I knew Ethan was up when I saw, « WOAH » come over my phone. Ethan called and we agreed to meet at 7-11 nearby Pearl Harbor for the return. I hope to get a smiling pic from Laule’a soon. Aloha to Ethan & Laule’a!
