*** Newport Beach lost sentimental ring was lost in sand.  Late one weekday just before sunset Mabel called asking if I was available to help her find a gold ring she dropped in the sand.

I only ask where I could meet her and if she could be there to guide me to the general location of the loss. Waisting time discussing too many details isn’t  necessary, when I’m only minutes away from the location.

I met Mabel just before dark. It was getting windy and cold.

A few minutes into the search I was able to locate Mabel’s precious ring and get her on her way off the beach to return home with her priceless keepsake.

I am available to help you and will not waste your time if you call me to discuss our possibilities of finding what you have loss… Metal Detecting is what I do and I have the best equipment and have been metal detecting since 1971. “I WILL TRY ANYWHERE”

Lost Custom Made Wedding Ring at Huntington Beach Pier… Returned to Newlywed

Metal  Detecting service available for Huntington City Beach .. Call or Text Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** A guy named Sindha called me on week day night just after he lost his Silver Wedding Ring at Huntington City Beach. This was lost in the dry sand just as the sun set.  He had been brushing sand off his clothes after sitting when his wedding ring flew off his finger.

Sindha has only been married less than two months so this was traumatic for he and his wife. Very frustrating searching through the sand with their fingers as the cold wind got more intense. They called me for help after searching the internet for information about metal detecting services.

This location of the loss was very close to the Huntington Beach Pier where the beach sifting machines clean every evening, starting after 10 pm. If the machines miss it. The ring would not have survived the recreational metal detectorists that work this area of the beach everyday.

Knowing the urgency of this search, I was able to meet them soon after the call and before the beach closed. It was a quick recovery because they didn’t waste too much time trying to find the ring by hand searching or trying to rent a metal detector. It also helped that they were still at the beach, so they put me in a 20’x20’ area.

It was a pleasure to be available to help such a nice couple. I love this hobby.

Hierloom Gold Diamond Pendant.. Lost in Grass .. Fountain Valley, CA.

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

*** Finding a gold diamond pendant in the grass at a public park can be challenging, especially in the dark. Celine called for help to find her sentimental pendant that was a gift from her grandmother and she has worn it everyday for years.

It was dark when I received the call. Celine told me she was in a Fountain Valley neighborhood park with her dog. Her dog playfully jumped up with its paws braking her gold necklace. The pendant flew off into deep grass.

During our conversation she asked if she could meet me the next day after she got home from work.  I would rather meet her as soon as possible, so I could get the location pinpointed. If it didn’t show up in the dark. I could resume the search the next day while she was at work.

I met her with her neighbor  and his metal detector. He was unable to locate the pendant. My equipment was able to locate the pendant shortly after I started the grid search. I’m sure the neighbor could have found it, but she had him searching the wrong location. This is more common than most inexperienced ringfinders know. It always important to ask the important questions. Celine was more than happy to have her pendant back.

I also took time to show her neighbor  that his detector would have found it if he was in the right location.

***My Most Resent Recovery: About a half hour before sunset I received a call from Joshua. He and Maria, his future bride were doing photo shoots with the bridal party at Little Corona Beach, located in the city of Corona Delmar. Maria tried to remove a small gold ring from a ring box when it slipped from her fingers landing in a mass of reef rocks and sand. This whole photo shoot was co-ordinated to happen as the sunset. They proceeded with the series of photos even thought the ring couldn’t be found.

One of the persons with them found my information online. After a short conversation. I told them i was only a couples miles from their location and would be there within 20-25 minutes. I needed at least one person to show me the general area. They had dinner reservations for the 10 people in the   bridal party and could not stay while I searched. “No Problem “ for me, once they showed me the general location. After finding the super small gold ring. I would drive to the restaurant to return it.
