As easy as a ring can disappear into the beach sand,It can also be easily found by a Metal detecting specialist.

I recently received a call from Eleanor who accidentally lost her engagement ring while vacationing at the beach in Carlsbad. She searched vigorously sifting through the sand with her fingers for over an hour to no avail.Fortunately, she was able to find me on The Ring Finders website and called right away. This was a short drive as I live nearby and I was successfully able to locate her precious ring just minutes after turning on my Metal detector equipment. Eleanor was very relieved I could help her out and could now finally enjoy her time in sunny San Diego.

Lost Ring in Ocean, Carlsbad

Got a lost ring call in the middle of saying goodby to a dear friend. Can u come right now? No but I will be down in 1 1/2 hrs. One hr later, can u come now ?  So we were almost done so I said I would be there in 20 min.

I get to an over crowded beach and find parking, grab the PI and water scoop and head over.  I am met half way  by a very sad man. Its in the water, do you think there’s a chance of finding it ? Hell yes knee deep, no problem…

As I start my search there are a ton of people coming over to watch. He shows me where he was, or thinks he was.  After about 10 min Im looking at tide line and I start working into the ankle deep area and low and behold, bang..  I scoop it and walk outa the water, turn to him and ask, Whats it look like… he he. ( YEP ) here you go.

Cheers from the crowd make it really cool, as we walk thru to our cars  I hear, Great Job « RingFinder  »

1953 Wedding Ring LOST

  • from Carlsbad (California, United States)

An evening Lost Ring Call. Laura calls and says, My Dad lost HIS DADS wedding ring. I’m aprox 5 mins away if I can find parking so I’ll head right down. Ok it took about 20 mins to be at top of the stairs and my phone rings,  we’re right below you waveing.  I get down on the sand and hear the story that this was his Dads ring from 1953.

His Mother Olga was standing there with tears in her eyes, I told them  » its here and I’ll find it for you.

After gridding the whole area, I asked if they checked their chairs and stuff,  he looked at me and replied, YES, 3 times.

Open up the search area and I think it was 2 passes and boom, there she be.  I take it outa the scoop and ask « Whats it look like »? Laura gets to dimonds on top and I hold up my finger with this beautifull ring on it.

I only ask kind of metal before I search, cause its a treasure hunt for me and I love the shock factor too.

I look to Grandma and the look on her face was PRICELESS.

A really nice guy who had helped them look for the ring in the sand before I was called, (gess they tried for over an hour, ) came over to me and asked

» will you take a tip from me ? » Thats a first, I was kinda in shock, as he stuck a bill in my bag. This proves my feeling about helping people,  Didnt get his name but he’s in the pic, red shirt. Thank You.  Happy 4 th to all. imageimage
