*** Cloe called for my metal detecting service after she lost her gold ring in grass at a yard of where she was babysitting youngsters. She was very confident that the ring was in the backyard. The location was near the city of Anahiem, CA. which is30 or 40 minutes drive for me.

I met Cloe later that afternoon and she took me to the large backyard explaining that she had been playing kickball all over the lawn area. It would have been difficult to see a small gold ring visually as much of the grass was a brown/yellow color.

I grid searched the lawn area getting many metal signals which were too deep to check by finger searching the grass. This type search could take forever dropping to my knees to investigate every signal.  After swinging my detector over 3/4 of the lawn area, I got a strong surface signal and the ID numbers on my detector were close to gold numbers. As I stared into the dead brown/yellow grass I spotted Cole’s ring.

She was standing near so I called her over to see where it had been hiding. She was so happy and grateful to have her ring back where it belongs..

*** Ean and his friends were at Huntington City Beach , CA. They were doing a night time campfire on the beach at the public fire pits. He had a set of keys on a key ring that broke while he was swinging them. He was able to find 4 of the 5 keys, but the most important key could not be found.

One of his friends found my information online and Ean called me.  It was only a 7 mile drive for me, so I met him on the beach in dark soon after the call.

I was able to find the key for him shortly after he showed me the suspected area of the loss. He was very happy and appreciative that I showed up promptly and saved his time and trouble to have the key replaced.  Finding sentimental rings and jewelry are not the only things that are important to people. I try to think of that when I get calls to find objects other than jewelry.
