This ring search began when I received a text from Marie asking if I could help find a lost ring in her car. I always ask a few pertinent questions first off to determine the actual likelihood of finding their lost ring. She was 100% sure it was lost in her car and explained that being from France she has the tendency to talk while using gestures with her hands and that is exactly what happened in this case. She made a quick sweep of her hand and felt her ring come off and then she heard a click. At first she was not overly concerned because she figured when she got home she would do a simple search and find her ring…no problem. But after thoroughly searching on her own and vacuuming and then taking her car to the mechanic…they were not able to find her precious ring. This simple gold ring was a gift to her when she was 13 years old from her mother who has recently passed away. Marie is very fond of her special ring and even more so now…so not having her ring caused her true heartache.
It took about 15 minutes to look all the obvious places over and the sun roof opening was a most likely place for a flying ring to go but my probing with my Endoscope could not detect a small gold ring. Then I began searching carefully along the metal seat glides and I spotted a quarter tucked under the drivers seat and then a flash of gold revealed Marie’s lost gold ring hiding along side the quarter. I called Marie out to see what I had found and she was visibly shaken and hugged me over and over and kept saying « Thank you, thank you »!
So I thank God for allowing me to find Marie’s lost ring in her car and I thank Marie for giving me the call and opportunity to help her. And then I am thankful to be able to help those in need of The Ring Finders services and for Chris Turner who started this service and made it available to those of us who find great joy and contentment in helping others.
