Your ring lost in the sand is not lost forever.. Call or text Stan the Metal Detector Man  … 949-500-2136 .. Professional metal detecting service available to give you advice or meet you at your location .

** It was a weekend Sunday afternoon when I got a call to help find a ring lost at Corona Delmar beach. They had lost a gold ring while playing volleyball and were still at the location. I was nearby, so I met them on the beach with my state of the art metal detecting equipment.

They told me that two rings were lost in the sand.  I was amazed that they had been able to find one of the rings hand searching the sand.
Anyway, I recovered the other ring shortly after starting a grid search with my state of the art metal detector. It was a big family group and they were all happy to see how easy it was to find the other ring. It’s always a special moment to see how happy people are when we can find a sentiment keepsake that they thought was impossible to find in a mass of sand.

*** Lisa called from the Irvine Spectrum shopping center, Irvine, CA.  The family was together on their way to a store inside the mall. Her son Jordan was just swinging his arms showing his brother a basket ball move when his gold ring went flying off his finger.  It happened in an area of the mall where there were many planters of flowers and exotic plants..

He knew the moment it happened and was sure it went to the right side of the walkway. I was told they could be at the location until I arrived. They gave me enough clues that got me excited that this could be a successful search.

Most the plants were easy to search, but there was a thorny Bougainvillea plant that I hate searching. My first scans were done with my metal detector set up with 6” coil. Not locating the ring with the big detector I went to using a handheld pinpointer, crawling through the plants on my hands and knees. ( except the thorny Bougainvillea )

After a more than a half hour the awesome gold ring showed up. This is getting to be the normal, it was found in the planter, but 10-15 feet left outside the box. Jordan and his mother were very happy to have the ring back. Again they told me they didn’t know this service existed and had just took a chance to google search metal detector expert.

I’m glad I have the time to be available to get to these calls in a timely manner which has a lot to do with making these searches successful.

Gold Wedding Ring Lost in a Irvine, CA. City Park .. Recovered in the Grass by a Ringfinder

*** Ben and his family had a birthday party for his daughter at a local park in Irvine, CA.  He didn’t notice his gold wedding ring missing till after they returned home. The next morning he went back to the park searching the grass. After a couple hours, Ben went to the internet for ideas about searching for a ring in the grass.

He found TheRingFinders website where he used my contact information to call me. After a short conversation where he said he was at the location now. I said if he could wait a there, I could meet him within 30 minutes. He agreed and I was on my way to the park that was less than 5 miles from where I live.

Meeting Ben on the lawn area of the park, he showed me where he thought the loss occurred. I started a grid search using a metal detector set up for gold ring that should be less than 2” or 3” deep in the grass. Fifteen minutes later he came over to me saying this was not the actual area where they had been yesterday.

I started in the new search location 50 ft. to the north and within 20 minutes I received the magic signal that was Ben’s gold ring deep at the base of the grass, totally out of site.  He and his wife were so grateful to have such a sentimental ring that he has worn everyday for 23 years.
