Sandy and Danielle had only been married about a month when Danielle lost her wedding ring and band. She had placed both on the right hand side of the hood of her car while working in the yard and then later drove off to run some errands, forgetting about the rings. Danielle drove almost three miles before she realized that the rings were missing. Their Ring (no pun intended) camera had confirmed this. Danielle and Sandy retraced her route several times including searching the sides of several busy roads but had no luck. Danielle found me on the Ring Finders website and I told her I would be happy to search the grassy road shoulders of her route with my detector. After I arrived the following morning, I began searching the road shoulders with Sandy while Danielle searched the road walking ahead of us. I arrived at the first intersection and turned to walk the road towards the second intersection and the end of the grassy road shoulders. Danielle called out from ahead and happily announced she has found both rings in the middle of the road at the intersection which they had searched previously! Unfortunately the one carat diamond in the wedding ring and one of the small diamonds in the band were missing from the slightly smashed rings. The three of us spent at least an hour searching the road on our hands and knees for the diamonds with one of us as a spotter for oncoming traffic but we failed to locate them. I contacted Danielle a few days later and she told me that they had failed to find the diamonds after another search but that the rings could be repaired back to the original condition.
