*** I received a call from Josh as I was driving home from the grocery store. He was on the sand at Newport Beach, CA. where he lost his wedding ring. I was only blocks away from his location and always have my metal detectors with me.
I had him wait at the location and met him a few minutes after his call. When we met on the beach he told me that he had his ring in the pocket of his beach chair. After he walked to his car his ring was not in the chair pocket. Most the times when rings are lost from chair cupholders or pockets, they fall out when the chair is first picked up. This time the ring was right where he had been sitting on the beach. Josh was happy to save time searching for the ring with the proper equipment and an experienced metal detector operator. He can continue his vacation here in Newport Beach before returning home in Arizona.
