Diamond Earring found!

  • from Toronto (Ontario, Canada)

After having a lovely swim at a friend’s cottage, I discovered one of my diamond earrings was missing.   I was upset as they were a treasured wedding gift from my Mother.   A few of us used snorkel goggles to search several times , but it was difficult due to the depth, low light and mixed rock/sand lake bottom and we were unsuccessful.
Two days later, I found Paul Davies information on the Ring Finders website.   I texted him and he responded very quickly.   He asked some clarifying questions and we briefly spoke about the potential to find a small piece of jewelry on a lake bottom.   Due to the sentimental connection of the earring, I decided to hire Paul and I was lucky he had time to do the search later that same day. Paul was very professional, communicative and friendly throughout the process. The lake was a 2+ hour drive away from Paul’s location, he let me know his expected arrival time and also confirmed his departure time.  Paul arrived at the time stated, was friendly, courteous, and quickly started the search.
I was so relieved and ecstatic when Paul found the earring.  Paul is obviously an expert — using his equipment, knowledge,  keen eyes and skill in jewelry finding!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Paul Davies jewelry finding services.

When my friend Karen,  lost her diamond stud earring at the bottom of our cottage lake, we thought that was it. The earring has significant sentimental value so we decided to try and give Ringfinder.com a try. Paul responded to our request within minutes, and despite being 2 hours away was willing to come the same day. Paul kept us up to date several times regarding his arrival time and arrived as promised.
Paul was extremely personable and put us at ease right away. As a former firefighter and dive instructor for 20 years, we knew we were in good hands. Paul immediately got to work getting his gear set up and  putting his dive gear on.  The water at the end of our dock is about 10 feet deep with a sandy / muddy bottom and that is where the earring fell. Paul told us he was going to have a quick look and assess the environment. About a minute later Paul came up to give us the update – ‘here is the earring!’. We could not believe it! We didn’t even think Paul had ‘started’ yet. We certainly did not expect Paul to find such a small piece of jewelry in dark water that quickly, but he did.
We could not have been more happy with Paul’s service. We would recommend Paul to anyone who needs to find something lost in the water. He truly was a miracle worker that day!

Masters student Alison couldn’t recover her water depth sensor in the Humber river due to the water temperature & depth.

On December 14 I took the plunge & after less than 30 min located her $700 sensor. She is now able to complete her Masters & re-use the expensive sensor.

Lost ring found in Toronto, after Spring Gardening

  • from Toronto (Ontario, Canada)
Vivian ringPaul Davies was used to answer my prayer. I had been doing the « spring cleanup » in my garden when I noticed that the most precious of all my earthly possessions, my deceased father’s gold wedding band, was no longer on my finger. This  ring was a family heirloom, promised to my son as a memento of his grandfather’s love.   I had searched the garden on my hands and knees, dug up the flower bed again and sifted through bags of yard waste, before giving up. My heart was deeply pained with the loss. I would have gladly given up (literally) anything I owned to see the ring on my finger again and to know that my son would wear it one day.
Although I was almost without hope, I decided to search the internet for someone with a metal detector. I came across Mr. Davies and contacted him. He replied to me quickly and came to my property in Toronto to conduct the search. Within 10 minutes, the lost ring was back on my finger! I will be forever grateful.

found ring on hand Happy Pietro & family with FOUND ring & Paul ring finderVandendool Crownring2b ring

« I went swimming in a lake and lost my wedding ring. After spending a few hours swimming down 10 feet, we gave up the search. I thought it was gone for good before I found Paul online. He came with scuba gear and an underwater metal detector and found the ring in 25 minutes! Material possessions can be replaced, but the sentimental value cannot. We can’t thank you enough! »

Pietro

Pietro was at a conservation area with his family & lost his ring when swimming. Once I arrived he pointed me to the « location » where he felt the ring slip off. The visibility was 1-2′ & I was able to find the ring in about 25 minutes.

Another happy customer.  So far I am 2 for 2!  🙂

Lost Ring found in lake near Haliburton

  • from Toronto (Ontario, Canada)

Diego & happy wifeOn my first official search for a wedding ring, I was able to find Diego’s wedding ring. He flipped a canoe near a friend’s cottage & lost 2 fishing poles & his wedding ring.  The location was in ~18; in a bay of a lake. It took me about 1 hour to locate the « drop » area as the initial search location was not accurate for me. Note that the more accurate the « lost » location is, the better luck I will have in locating « your » treasure. I found the ring within 15 minutes of locating the fishing poles.

Diego has been married since Feb 2013 so finding the ring was very important to him & his wife. 2 Happy Customers!!
