Got a call last night from a gentleman who lost his wedding ring while doing Fall bush and flower trimming.
He and his wife have been married 42 years and this was the first time he has lost his ring! He knew that it was somewhere on his property, so just a matter of time that we found it. He had done a great job of remembering what shrubs and flower patches that he had trimmed. And even better than that, he remembered where he had been working with his gloves off! One shrub was the likeliest place to start, because he had gloves off while digging out the clippings and leaves from deep within it.
So, I began the search with that bush. It was possible that the ring could be suspended in the branches, but because gold is so heavy, I started with the ground underneath first. I got a few junk signals, then, in under 5 minutes, got a popping good gold signal. I peeked under and there it was!
To make it even nicer, his wife was there for the moment. They were so happy to have it back on his finger again. That ring eating bush will have to look for something else to eat!
