Lost wedding band in Surf City NJ found by Matt St.Germain

  • from Seaside Heights (New Jersey, United States)

Earlier this afternoon i was contacted by Michael. He was at the beach and went into the water during high tide and was hit by a few waves and wound up losing his wedding band. I got the information i needed and headed out there right away to make the next low tide in hopes of being able to locate it. Once i got there Michael met me and showed me the area he was. I started my search and within about 15 minutes i had it! He was surprised and very happy! Another great ending!

Lost Diamond engagement ring Found in Long Branch NJ By Matt St.Germain Jersey Shore Ring Finder

  • from Seaside Heights (New Jersey, United States)

Got a message from fellow ring finder Edward Cropski Aka NJ lost ring finder Last night around 10:30 pm about a lost engagement ring in Long Branch NJ shortly followed by a phone call from Tiffany Michelle the woman who lost it. While out on the beach earlier in the day with her husband and son. They decided to move back from the surf more and her bag fell over with things falling out including her ring. They searched for hours when they came across the ring finders site which led to a call to Ed. He then referred them to me. By 12 am i was on my way there to meet them. They were on vacation and visiting family then going home to FL in a few days.. They were both frantic over the loss as the ring has been in her family for 3 generations. Her grandmother, Her mother and now it was hers. I met them on the beach and after a short conversation on where they were i began my search. About 30 mins went by with no luck. I then spread out farther from the towel line towards the high tide line in the wet sand. 10 mins later i had a nice crisp tone with a 12.10 on the Ctx. within one scoop i had her ring! They were both surprised and overjoyed that i had found it. So much that i received plenty of hugs and thanks. It was a great feeling to see them happy and ending their vacation on a high note. Another great hunt!

Lost men’s 14k wedding band in Long Branch NJ Found By Matt St.Germain Jersey Shore Ring Finder

  • from Seaside Heights (New Jersey, United States)

After a 12hr day at work I’m home for maybe an hour when i get a message from Fellow Ring Finder Edward Cropski asking me if i’m near long branch as he just got a call from a guy out with his family that just lost his 14k white gold wedding band in the wet sand while playing with his son, Despite his wife telling him to give her his ring so he wouldn’t lose it. He felt it was safer with him. Which proved to be wrong… As him and his son were on the slope playing he happened to feel his ring slip off his finger. As he was about to dive for it a wave came in and just like that, The ring was gone. They found The ring finders site doing a search and quickly contacted Ed who then relayed it to me. But he lost it during the worst time.. 2 hrs after low tide and i got there another 45mins later. By then the tide was up 2 feet and the surf was rough with 3-4ft waves breaking on the beach. I tried to find it for a few hrs while being pounded mercilessly by the waves coming in to no avail… I had to give up the hunt and wait for better conditions. After sleeping for only 3hrs i was up at 1am the next day and out the door by 1:45 with the ctx now mounted with my 17″ coil to try again before work.. I got there around 2:30am and started to grid from the top of the slope and followed the tide out. I was finding stained quarters, nickles and 2 pieces of junk jewelry.. I knew i had pretty good odds at finding it but after searching for 2-1/2 hrs i was beginning to have some doubts as i finished up the area i laid out. I decided to expand the search area 10ft more on both sides of where i had already been. I got down to the wash and get a two-tone iffy signal about 12″ down, The numbers were all over the place. I decided i was digging everything and even though i thought it may be junk i went for it. But every scoop or two i took the now incoming tide filled the hole right back in again.. So now i was taking 3 scoops at a time between waves. The signal was fading, sinking… It even started to tone iron and then it disappeared. I had to dig even more to bring it back up again. Finally it was getting Louder. after 20+mins of chasing this signal one more scoop got it out. Kicked the sand with my foot and there it was!! Him and his family drove all the way down here tonight from Rutherford to reclaim it and gave me a very nice reward for finding it. They were in shock and couldn’t believe i had found it! A very happy customer! What a great experience it was! Now it’s time for some sleep…
