Wedding Ring Lost for Two Weeks Found With Metal Detector

  • from Nashville (Tennessee, United States)

Elia contacted me a week ago regarding her wedding ring being lost in her back yard a week prior. She had handed the ring to her husband when she went swimming and he put the ring in his shorts pocket. He later pulled some car keys from the same pocket and the ring apparently fell somewhere in the yard. Elia’s husband bought a metal detector and tried finding the ring himself, only to become frustrated. When our schedules were aligned I met with Elia and her husband on 06-28-2026. The back yard was expansive, but Elia’s husband showed me the areas where the ring was most likely lost. About 30 minutes into my grid search I got the tone that I was hoping for. Elias’s beautiful ring was concealed deep in the grass, not visible to the naked eye from any angle. Elia and her husband were elated, and I was quite happy myself. Eliza’s husband had already looked into replacing the ring and was shocked when he’d seen how much the price of gold had gone up. This was my second successful ring search on this day.

Lost Wedding Ring Found With a Metal Detector in Portland, TN

  • from Nashville (Tennessee, United States)

Aaron found my contact information on TheRingFinders directory after his wife lost her wedding ring in their Portland, TN back yard about a week ago. She actually lost both her engagement and wedding rings at the same time as she was playing with their dogs, but they quickly found the larger engagement ring in the grass. The wedding ring disappeared in the thick grass, and played hard to get even when Aaron used a metal detector to look for the ring himself. This was the second search of the day for me, and was hopefully going to be successful like the first search.

After Aaron showed me where his wife was standing when she lost her rings and where they found the engagement ring, he said he’d leave me to do my thing and he went back in the house. Ten minutes into the search I got the signal I was hoping for. The ring was completely concealed in the thick grass, about twelve feet away from where the engagement ring had been found. Both Aaron and his wife were very happy to have the wedding ring back on her finger with the matching engagement ring. Aaron’s wife had all but given up hope that her ring would be found. It was a great feeling to recover the ring for her.

A New Partner for Lost History in NWA

My name is Jacob Hogue, and I am proud to officially launch my professional recovery service as a member of The Ring Finders Metal Detecting Service here in Northwest Arkansas. My mission is simple: to help you continue the story of your most sentimental possessions when they go missing. Whether it’s a wedding band lost in a Cave Springs backyard, a family heirloom dropped at Osage Park, or car keys buried in the snow at a local trail, I am here to help you find what you thought was lost forever.

Why Call a Specialist?

Many people try to rent or buy a detector themselves, but without years of experience, the chances of finding a small ring are slim. I use professional-grade equipment like the Minelab X-Terra Pro, which features advanced Pro-Switch technology. For jewelry recovery, I manually switch my frequency to 15 kHz, the « sweet spot » for detecting gold, platinum, and fine silver that standard detectors often miss.

My « No-Risk » Professional Approach

I believe that professional recovery should be accessible to everyone in our community. That’s why I operate on a unique business model designed to put your mind at ease:

• Transparent Pricing: I charge a modest $65 call-out fee to cover my travel and gas across the NWA area.

• Reward-Based Recovery*: My actual finding fee is on a Reward Basis—you pay what the item is worth to you only after it’s back in your hand.

• The Book of Smiles: Every successful recovery is a chance to add to my local « Book of Smiles, » documenting the moment we turn a tragedy back into a celebration.

Heavy Gold Bracelet Lost on College Campus in Nashville TN Found With a Metal Detector

  • from Nashville (Tennessee, United States)

On March 22nd I received what I would consider a frantic phone call from a young college student named Zorawar regarding a lost gold bracelet. He explained that he was playing baseball in a grassy courtyard area on his college campus when he lost his solid gold bracelet. He had placed it in his shorts pocket so it wouldn’t fly off his wrist as he was throwing the baseball. At some point, the bracelet fell out of his pocket.

He did what many of my clients have done, went and bought a cheap metal detector and began searching on his own. While he was swinging the metal detector, he had several of his close friends walking all over the grassy area looking for his bracelet. As time passed without the bracelet being found, he did an internet search which lead him to me.

Zorawar sent me a pin with his location and I met with him about thirty minutes after his initial call. I knew time was against us since the college campus is flooded with students and non-students, and realistically there could be someone who would find it and keep it for themselves. I powered up my XP Deus 2 metal detector and began a systematic grid search of the area, even going beyond the boundaries that Zorawar suggested.

After about thirty minutes of searching with my metal detector, it was my eyes that located the gold bracelet.

Understandably, Zorawar was frantic after he lost the bracelet and his mind was going 100 miles per hour. There were very few patches of thick grass that could have concealed the bracelet. All that was needed was a slow, methodical and systematic grid search, and the end result is a very happy and thankful young man. The bracelet has religious significance and Zorawar has worn it every day for the last eight years. Now he gets to keep that routine going. It was truly a great day for both of us.
