I got a voicemail on 6/16 from a lady whose husband had recently lost his wedding ring. He is a farmer who works 7 days a week and covers a lot of ground around their huge farm.
His wife did some absolutely incredible detective work to try to narrow down the area that he might have lost it. He hadn’t felt it fall off. They have several security cameras, so she decided to go through all the footage. She finally found that he had his ring on when they were doing some things in a side yard and behind a building, and a little while later it could be seen that it was missing from his finger. So, that gave them an idea where to search.
Not knowing about my service yet, they ordered a metal detector from the internet. Without having experience with a detector, and being an area jam packed with signals, they had no luck with it. She also spent many hours visually searching for it in the daytime and with a bright flashlight at night.
I went over this morning early because I thought it may be a difficult search. She showed me the areas and I got started. Unfortunately, her husband was too busy to accompany us. The ground was loaded with signals, but in about 10 minutes I got a promising surface signal. I pushed the pinpointer into the thick grass and there it was! Wow, was she happy!! She wasn’t sure if they would ever see it again!
I would like to say a big, thank you to Mike. My husband and I are very grateful that you took time out of your day to come and help us find his ring. You are very generous and kind.
Man to help others and not expect nothing in return, but the happiness that you bring them from finding something that they lost, you truly are a one in a million person and you were able to find his ring, which I never thought i would see again. You were able to find, the ring that meant so much more, then words can say so all I can say, is I appreciate you and thank you for everything that you do. Not only for me but for everyone else that you have helped, and we’ll continue to help.
