A gentleman contacted me about losing his platinum wedding band 3 days prior while swimming in Lake Washington. He described the ring and where he lost it so I started to grid the area out going back in forth covering every square inch. After about 45 minutes, I gave him my cell number and asked him to send me a text so I’d be able to contact him in case he wanted to leave.
About a half hour later, I got a solid low-conductive tone in 3 feet of water. I looked down and saw the edge of the ring half-buried on the bottom. The gentleman had moved with his family to another area of the park, so I continued to hunt. When I saw him a ways off, I waved my arms and he took off running toward me.
You should have seen his face when he saw his ring! He immediately stuck it right back on his finger when I handed it to him. He and his wife were thrilled.
