Gold wedding ring recovered from Shoreham on sea

  • from Kent (England, United Kingdom)

Simona contacted me a few days ago , she explained that her husband Dave hadlost his gold wedding ring whist swimming at low tide on a beach at Shoreham on sea , it was estimated he was approximately 50 meters out when the loss occurred.

i checked the tide times for this area , and realised this morning’s very low tide could give us a fighting chance of recovering Dave’sgold wedding band .

we met on the beach at 06:30 giving me a good two hours until this very low tide turned, i started grinding out the wet sand , following the tide out , for the first 90 minutes the only targets were a couple of  coins , then I got a target of 46 on my Manticore detector , sitting 2 inches deep in saturated sand , when I handed the precious gold band back to them the look of amazement on Simona and Dave’s  face was a sight to behold , as they were convinced his wedding ring was gone forever , another “ you’ve just made my day/week/month etc “thanks to theringfinders.com
