Men’s Wedding Band Lost in the waters of Georgian Bay, Simcoe County, Tiny, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Davide and Maria were up at the cottage in the beautiful Tiny Township area on the shores of Georgian Bay, Simcoe County, Ontario.

Davide was in the water with his sons, throwing around frisbees and having a great time! He noticed that his wedding band was missing and called me for help!

I arrived that day with beautiful weather and a little bit of wave action.  David did not know where his wedding band came off! It was quite a large area, so I proceeded to start a grid search pattern from the shoreline out. The area was approximately 80 feet wide by 80 feet from shore.

Within an hour or so, I finally had a solid target closer to shore and managed to recovery his beautiful 18k gold ring!

I knew they were gonna hurry to get back to the city, so it was a quick surprise! Davide & Maria were extremely happy, especially because it was their 15th wedding anniversary!!

It was a pleasure helping Davide and Maria! I am thankful and grateful for their generous donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation on behalf of my work!

Man lost 18k white gold latched wedding band Farlain Lake, Penetang, ON

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I received a message from Laura M whom was visiting here Family cottage on Farlain Lake, Penetang, Ontario. Here Husband and 2 Sons were visiting the Family and were flying home to Calgary, Alberta soon. She asked if I was able to locate in 8′ waters with a murky bottom. I quickly replied I could and was available immediately after work.

Severe thunderstorms had rolled in Ontario that afternoon. I had just finished another ring find in the water and the rain came down. I arrived at the cottage, met the Family and brought all the gear down to the bottom. Turns out her Brother-in-Law lost his gold wedding band over 10 years ago as well.

I had sent a message earlier in the day to mark the location with a rock and floating jug to cut down the area to search. The thunder and lightening started so we waited it out for about 10 minutes…and proceeded to gear up. I also brought a magnet for the kids to try magnet fishing….they loved it!

WOW, it was a very silty bottom with 6-8″ of muck so hard to keep a good grid pattern direction. Just over an hour later…..my trusty Minelab Excalibur 2 toned off with a sweet crisp tone. BINGO BANGO!!! There is was!!

Here is a link to the video from my YouTube channel;

I started to look for the 2nd lost wedding band of the Brother-in-Law but the darkness was setting in! I’ll be back!! Very happy clients before they head home to Calgary, Alberta! Lovely Family!!

Tiny Township, Simcoe County, Ontario Lost 20th Anniversary gold ring~What a beauty!!

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

2017-10-09 Tiny Township, Simcoe County, Ontario

Received a phone call from Kim S that she lost her 20th Anniversary gold with diamonds rind either on her property or in the water.

We set a date and I proceeded up with all my detecting and scuba gear incase a water entry was required. Kim felt strongly that she lost her beautiful ring in the water. I asked more questions and she had said that her husband reminded her that she was back and forth from the water to the hot tub numerous times with the Grand Children.

My gut was telling me to start on land. I proceeded with a grid search…found a penny…found some metal…then on my my 4th pass back between the grass and the concrete steps leading down to the water was a shinny gold ring sparkling with many diamonds staring right back at me!!

I kept my cool, put my detector down and said to Kim « I forgot to do my video for good luck »!! I did a « Facebook Live » video and SURPRISED her with her ring. I think she was in shock when she grabbed it out of my hand….it was really great to see her jump for joy in all the excitement. Kim proceeded to call her Husband who was at the airport to let him know the great news!

I am very grateful to Kim as she rewarded me with a very generous donation on behalf of my « Pay-It-Forward » campaign for the 2018 19th annual Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation Snow Run on my behalf!! Thank you Kim!!
