Sentimental Gold Ring Lost off Dock in Port Severn, Georgian Bay, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Tom was attending a bachelor party fishing weekend with the groom, groomsman and proud Father’s up in Port Severn on Little Go Home Bay.

There was a rush to get up to the location as they had an 11:00am check-out time looming.

Tim caught a small fish off the dock which caught his necklace, the necklace came loose and the sentimental ring fall into the water. The depth was approximately 5′ to 6′ of with murky bottom with lots of shells.

I used my Dive Blu3 Nemo floating battery operated air supply system with a 10′ hose, the Minelab Excalibur2 and a pin pointer to successfully recover Tom’s ring in a short amount of time as he knew exactly where his ring went in.

Thank you Tom for you donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation!

Lost Gold Wedding Band in Polar Plunge Port Severn, Georgian Bay, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Ajay and his long time University Friends were up at a cottage in Port Severn, Ontario. It was a last get together weekend before the summer as one Friends was headed to Western Canada.

The guys decided to do a ‘polar dip’ into the chilly waters of Georgian Bay. Unfortunately, Ajay’s wedding band slipped off his finger into the water below. One of the guys had taken a video of Ajay’s polar dip. With the help of a program I use (Splice), I imported the clip, slowed down the video and saw the moment the ring came off right in front of the dock.

I used my Dive BLU3 Nemo unit (floating battery operated air supply with 10′ hose) and my trusty Minelab Excalibur2 underwater metal detector. I the 25 minutes in the water, I found the cottage owners reading glasses, a fishing lure and finally Ajay’s beautiful gold wedding band!

What a great group of guys helping me with my equipment, recording from the dock and even a nice hot coffee with food afterwards to warm up. It was a real pleasure.

Thank you Ajay for your generous donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation!

BRAND NEW ENGAGEMENT RING SLIPS OFF FINGER THROUGH DECK BOARDS INTO SILTY WATERS BELOW INTO TEA LAKE, SEVERN, Ontario 🇨🇦

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Jessica and Jackson had just become engaged within the last week. Jessica had just put on some sunscreen and felt her Engagement ring was OK to leave on her finger! Not too long after, her ring slipped off her finger through the deck boards and into the waters below. Jessica Panicked but she was smart enough to put dimes down and placed a nail with rope/washers in location she felt her ring fell through the deck! Jessica then googled “Lost Ring and waters“, “The Ring Finders” directory came up and she called me immediately!

She was extremely  upset when she called and inquire about The Ring Finders services!! PANIC HAD SET IT!

I made arrangements to come up the following evening immediately after work! I assured Jessica that she would not be going home without her engagement ring!!

I arrived in good time, set up all my scuba dive equipment and dive detecting equipment as the dark rain clouds moved in! Jessica’s Father was a huge help with my equipment!

Into the waters I went! Up once after a few minutes to re-check my position as there was ZERO VISIBILITY !! Could of targets later… THAT TONE!!!

Check out the video!!

Lots of patience and removing a few targets and there was her beautiful 10k white gold and diamond filled engagement ring!!! A very happy young couple indeed! CONGRATULATIONS Jessica & Jackson on your very recent engagement!!! ❤️💍❤️

Beausoleil Island, Port Severn, Ontario~Lost late Grandmother’s 18k white gold engagement ring in waters of Georgian Bay

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

2017-09-04 Beausoleil Island, Honey Harbour, Port Severn, Ontario

Received a phone call from Zac that his girlfriend Lauren was washing her hair in the water when her dog jumped in and her late Grandmother’s recently gifted to her went flying off her finger. Lauren was devastated!!!

So I made arrangement to come flying up Hwy 400 that day and meet Zac at the boat launch as we were headed to an Island cottage.

Lauren explained the area and I was limited to half of a scuba tank. I started grinding and pulled up some crazy items….large nails, old brass table light switch, some coins and lots of metal. Zac had said to try further over. After an hour he jumped it and used the small Scuba Tector I had brought along while I continued with the Minelab Excallibur 2. I went back to the original location and within 20 minute….B-O-O-M….FOUND Lauren’s late Grand Mother’s engagement ring. WHAT A BEAUTY. 18k WHITE GOLD ….. PRICELESS XO

I secretly hinted to my Daughter to start filming….and then SURPRISED THEM. Lauren shrieked in sheer relief. She was very grateful.

Here’s the video! WARNING…. ONE LOUD SWEAR WORD….LOL

One relieved client
