April and her husband were out anchored at Passage Key (AKA Nudie Beach) for an afternoon of sun and fun. April was putting on suntan lotion and pulled on her ring to remove it. It slipped right out of her hand, bounced on the edge of the boat and disappeared into the water. They jumped into about waist deep water and searched but it had slipped under the sand. That evening they found SRARC and texted Joe Szemer. Arrangements were made to have April take Joe and Mike Miller out to the island on her boat. The next day they went out to the island and April explained where she thought she had lost the ring. Joe and Mike searched the area and after several more guesses of where to hunt April figured out how to get GPS information from the boat and we settled into a pretty small area to hunt. About 30 minutes later Mike got that sweet gold tone and out came the ring. April was so excited when Mike asked her to look into his scoop and there it was. After a bunch of hugs and happy screams we returned to the boat and headed home. So much fun for us to see the happiness on her face and to see her celebrate with her friend..

Will and family were visiting Anna Maria Island from Jackson, Wyoming over the 4th of July holiday. They were spending a Sunday morning on the beach at Bean Point. Will was walking along the beach with his feet just touching the waters edge looking for shells with his kids. As he bent over to retrieve a shell his wedding ring slipped off his finger and onto the sand. Before he could reach down and pick it up, the water washed over it and it disappeared. They all looked for it but could not find it. Just before they had to leave to go home, they found SRARC ring finders on google and contacted Joe Szemer. Joe called Mike and the next morning Mike headed to the place that Will said he lost it. After about 10 minutes of searching Mike found the ring. SRARC is happy to have had the opportunity to save the day for Will and family. The ring will soon be on it’s way to Wyoming and a reunion with Will.

Trey was playing volleyball with some friends. During the game, he noticed his gold cross was missing from his chain. After looking in the sand and returning with sifters, no luck. He contacted SRARC.com and help was on the way. Ed found his beautiful cross and returned it to the owner. Another great return!

Linda and Dave from Bradenton spent the day at the beach on Anna Maria Island with friends in front of the Sandbar restaurant. When they first arrived Linda took her Rolex watch off and stored it in her beach bag. After a beautiful day at the beach they returned home and as Linda cleaned out the beach bag the watch was no where to be found. They went back to the beach and searched the area they had been sitting in but could not find the watch. When Linda’s daughter heard about the loss she searched the internet and found SRARC ring finders. Linda called Joe Szemer and Joe contacted Mike Miller. Mike called Linda and made arrangements to meet early the next morning. A few minutes of searching and up came the watch much to the delight of Linda. Both Linda and Dave were very pleased and amazed that the watch was recovered and there were smiles all around.

Tiffany & Michael were down to Anna Maria Island from Connecticut for some fun and sun. They set up their area on Holmes Beach and Tiffany remembered she was wearing a very special ring so decided to protect it by tying it to one of the strings on her string bikini. During the day they ran around in the sand and tossed a football back and forth before going into the water to cool down. After returning to their area after cooling off, Tiffany noticed that her ring was no longer on her bikini. The area they had been in throughout the day was so large that it was impossible to search. They mentioned to a gentleman on beach named Bill what had happened. Bill suggested that they call SRARC ring finders. Joe Szemer got the call and contacted Mike Miller to see if he could respond quickly as the couple was going to leave in a short while. Mike headed down to the beach immediately and arrived just as they were leaving. Michael took Mike out to show him the area they thought he should hunt and then they left to return to Tampa. As Mike setup to begin the hunt, Bill came over and said he had been watching them the whole time they were there and that he should hunt in a completely different area than Michael had laid out. Since the area where the ring might have been lost (about the size of a football field) Mike went with what Bill suggested was the area they were most active in. After choosing to do the upper area first and having no luck Mike moved back to the middle and began the search of the lower area. After two sweeps the sweet sound of gold popped into Mike’s ears and sure enough there it was. Since Michael and Tiffany were already headed for return to Connecticut Mike will be returning the ring via USPS and is sure Tiffany will have a great big smile on her face when she opens the package. Thank you so much to Bill for putting Mike on the right track to finding the ring, without your help Mike would have never found the ring.

Jerzy was down with his family while his son was attending IMG Academy soccer camp. They decided to stay a few extra days to enjoy time on Anna Maria Island at the beach and in the Gulf of Mexico. Jerzy was out in about knee deep water tossing a ball with his son when he felt sand under his wedding ring. He stopped tossing the ball and spun the ring on his finger and pushed it to his knuckle to rinse the sand off. His son then tossed him the ball and when the ball hit his hand off went his ring. They looked for the ring but as we all know it is almost impossible to find it once it hits the sand. Jerzy found SRARC ring finders with Google and soon Mike Miller was in contact and went to meet him at the beach. Jerzy showed Mike the area where he had lost it but the water was to rough for a safe hunt so Mike said he would return when the tide was right and the water was calmer. Mike returned a few days later and hunted for three hours and had no luck. Still waiting for a good tide Mike returned a couple days later and finally had calm water. Two hours into the hunt the ring finally revealed itself. When Mike texted Jerzy a picture of his ring he was overjoyed. Since Jerzy and family have returned home it will be a few days until he can put it back on his finger and I’m sure when he opens the package he will have a huge smile on his face. It is always such a pleasure to return an item the owner thought was gone forever.

Daniel, Maureen and family were enjoying a nice sunny day at St.Pete Beach, Fl. A gust of wind blew a nearby beach canopy towards them. To protect her family, Maureen reached out to stop the incoming tent . At that time, her engagement ring flew off into the sand. With the help of others, it could not be found. Joe and Julia were on vacation visiting lovely Pass-A-Grille Beach in Florida. While playing football, Joe lost his ring in the water. Glenn and his wife were enjoying a fantastic day at St. Pete Beach, on the Florida Gulf coast. He took his ring off, placed it on his lap and applied sunscreen. He stood up and the ring went into the white powdery sand. Finding SRARC.COM online, he called Joe. Beach traffic was at a standstill as usual on Saturday afternoon. Joe notified Glenn, who drove Joe’s car as he hunted for the ring. The ring was found and Joe returned to his car still stuck in traffic. Glenn and his wife were all smiles and very appreciative.
