Within 25 minutes he found my ring... (2024)
I lost my wedding ring in the backyard on Friday night. After several extensive visual searches that evening and Saturday, I was still unable to find my ring. Ron’s name appeared in his blog, under lost rings and also on, “The Ring Finders” website. I called Ron and he was able to meet early the next morning to do a metal detecting search for my wedding ring. Ron took a moment and showed me how his metal detector worked. Within 25 minutes he found my ring and placed it in my hand. What a feeling of relief . Thanks very much Ron.

I am so happy and extremely grateful you found my rings... (2024)
I lost 2 rings at a soccer field and after searching the field a couple of times, I was not able to locate my lost rings. I called Ron on Saturday evening, who is listed on, "The Ring Finders" and he agreed to meet me at the park at 10:00 am the next day. I showed Ron the area where I believed the 2 rings were lost. He started metal detecting in search of the rings and within a half and hour Ron had found my 2 rings. Ron, I am so happy and extremely grateful you found my rings. Thank you so much Ron.

Ron, thanks again for finding my wedding ring... (2024)
I lost my wedding ring in my backyard last night while cleaning yard waste and throwing the waste over the fence. It was after cleaning that I had noticed my wedding ring was gone. I searched the area that I thought my ring could have been, but couldn't find it. I located Ron's name, on-line, in his Ring Finders blog and called him that night. Ron replied to my call that night and agreed to come to do a ring search the next morning. Ron found my ring in about an hour. It was in an area about 45 feet away
from where I originally thought it was and searched. Ron, thanks again for finding my wedding ring this morning. I greatly appreciated your fast response. Thank you, Tim.

Thanks Ron for your concern and kindness shown and quick response. (2024)
I lost my VW (2012) key fob in the ice and deep snow while visiting my Sister’s animal farm to help her with some farm maintenance. I lost the other key fob some year ago, so I was not able to drive the car home. I rented a metal detector but was still not able to find my key fob, not to mention how I felt in the extremely cold weather we experienced last week. I thought it was a lost cause. I searched the internet and noticed Ron’s name on the Ring Finders web-site. I called him Wednesday night and he returned my call immediately. He assured me that he could come the next day (Thursday) to search for my key fob. Fortunately, Ron found my key fob in about 2 hours, as mentioned, in extremely cold weather. I can’t tell you how it felt when Ron handed me the VW key fob. Thanks Ron for your concern and kindness shown and quick response.
Sincerely,
Tonia

I would definitely recommend Ron if you ever lose a ring... (2023)
I lost my ring while digging a new garden. I dug all the new plants I planted back up and still couldn't find my ring. I borrowed a metal detector from my neighbour and still didn't find my ring. I thought it was a lost cause but called Ron as a last ditch effort. He got back to me right away, arrived the next day and within 15 min. of showing up to my door, the ring was in my hands! And, he was friendly and polite on top of it all. I would definitely recommend Ron if you ever lose a ring. I should have called him earlier. I'm so grateful. Thanks again Ron.

My son lost his necklace while playing football at school and was extremely upset when he discovered that it was missing. My son and I searched for it but couldn't find it. We went on the internet and Ron Forster's name appeared under metal detecting and we then searched for Ron on The Ring Finders site and called him on Monday at 5:50 pm. and we met at the football field at 6:30pm. At 7:00pm I was very moved when Ron found and brought my Son's necklace to me and place it in my hand. My Son is so relieved his necklace was found. Thank you So much Ron! (2022)
Dear Ron,
I lost a very special gold necklace and medallion (given to me over 60 years ago) while looking after my son’s dog. So, I really wasn’t sure where I lost it…in my backyard or on her walks. But, I decided to call Ron Forster. Ron responded as soon as I called him. Sure enough, Ron was able to locate it in my back yard! I could not believe it! It truly brought me to tears! Thank you So much Ron!
Sincerely, Barb B.

Thanks again for the help Ron! (2021)
I was playing around in the water at Christie Lake with my son and noticed my wedding ring was missing. The water was pretty murky and you can’t see the bottom so I knew searching myself wasn’t going to find the ring. A quick google search found the Ring Finders website with Ron close by. He answered the call and was able to meet me right away. After about 45 minutes in the water, Ron found the ring and it was safely back on my finger. Thanks again for the help Ron!

do not hesitate to call Ron! (2021)
I was gardening in my backyard and after a couple of hours wearing gloves and taking them off from time to time, I noticed my ring had gone missing. This ring is very important to me as it was given to my mom from my dad when they first started dating 25 years ago. After searching for hours over the span of two days I had given up hope. I tried searching for rentals of metal detectors and I realized that I don’t even know how to work one. I found The Ring Finders website and noticed many people, Ron was able to help. He come as soon as possible, Ron was very polite and courteous. If you find yourself in a similar situation do not hesitate to call Ron!
Thank you for helping me, and for the professional service!

he is very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Thank you Ron, again you are a lifesaver. (2021)
I lost my wedding ring in a friend's backyard and after looking through the snow for hours I realized there was no sense in continuing to search for the needle in a haystack. I figured I could continue my search during subsequent visits or wait until spring and hope that it would still be there. My plans changed when I found Ron on The Ring Finders. I was pleased to see that there was not much risk in having Ron come help me look for the ring so I decided to contact him. He was polite on the phone and was able to meet me the next day. Within a half hour or so of meeting Ron my ring was found, shamefully in the exact spot I had spent so much time looking for it in the first place. Needless to say, I was extremely relieved. If it was not for Ron I'm not sure if I ever would have found it.
I enjoyed "helping" him look for my ring, he is very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Thank you Ron, again you are a lifesaver.

Ron was extremely professional and polite. His services will always come highly recommended. (2018)
After a couple of hours of yard cleanup and gardening I was distraught to discover that my wedding band was missing from my finger. It is not a particularly fancy or old ring but it has been with me for the past nearly 11 years, is as well traveled as I am and looks the part.
Needless to say I was upset and began frantically sifting through dirt and pulling up my recent plantings in the hopes of spotting it just below the surface. Regardless of the gallant effort put forth the only reward for my panicked searching was a nasty sun burn and a sense of failure.
About this time my very understanding wife, between her words of encouragement and understanding, suggested we get a metal detector. Quickly we realized we have no idea how to use a metal detector and she set off to find someone who could. Soon we happened upon the ring finders website and easily found Ron in our area. He returned our call with lightning speed, on a holiday Monday no less, and agreed to come by to search that very same day.
Not 10 minutes after the search began my ring was back on my finger and quickly left indoors where it would be safe for the remainder of the yard work.
Ron was extremely professional and polite. His services will always come highly recommended. Save yourself the sunburn and call your local ring finder!
