Cost For My Service

I work on a ''Reward Basis'' you pay what it's worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item. I have a call-out fee of $40.00 should the item not be found, as this covers my fuel expenses. (Maybe more or less depending on where you are located, please discuss when calling)

Search Types

Land and shallow waters to 1.5 meters. Not limited to warm seasons, I am available year round in case an item is lost in the snow. I can also be helpful in locating buried caches or family heirlooms, cell phones and keys. If it’s metal, I can recover it for you.

Search Locations

Cape Breton Island, but primarily Inverness and Victoria Counties.

Merryl Bustin's Bio

I’ve been an active metal detectorist for 6 years and enjoy every day afield. Surrounded by farmlands where I live you’ll often find me in pastures and older homesteads. During beach weather, I’ll have warm sands under my feet looking for lost treasures.

Having waterproof detecting equipment also allows me to conduct searches in shallow waters up to 1.5 meters in depth.
