John Fox's Bio
I have been professionally finding lost items since the 1980s. I have worked for insurance companies on claims for lost items, including working ski resorts in the spring, disaster claims for large contracts and of course the personal insurance claim for one lost item.
I also work with individuals who have lost an item and just want to find what they misplaced. I work on land and in shallow water. I no longer dive. I don't charge a dime unless I find your item. I also used to write a column for Western and Eastern Treasures called "Cache Corner" where I explored lost caches across the west.
Most caches are derived from family legends and tips that "grandpa put his money in the ground instead of the bank" or that "a local lost (or stolen) treasure might be on an owned property". I have found items valued in the 6 digits, but I don't discuss anything I find. Not here, and not if I find something for you.
I have been written about or authored articles on lost items approximately 70 times in the past, but still keep a low profile and am totally confidential on any searches. truly, most of my work is just a lost ring or item like that though, and that is worth my time to search for you. Call or text me.
I respond 100% of the time to inquiries.
