Cost For My Service

I work on a ''Reward Basis'' you pay what its worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item. I have a call out fee of $25.00 if the item is not found, this covers my fuel expenses.

Search Types

Beaches, parks, yards, fields, streams, swimming places, mountainous areas, and in other areas not mentioned here. This is not limited to just jewelry, keys, watches, cameras, phones, hidden caches, etc. The Metal Detector I use is of high quality and can meet just about any need - it is state of the art.

It is important to keep in mind, that if you have lost a valuable item (especially, on a beach or in the water where it sinks down) in a public place, you need to call as soon as possible, due to the many variables that can lessen the possibility of recovering the item.

Search Locations

Specifically, the San Juan, Puerto Rico area, but am willing to travel to anywhere on the island(s) of Puerto Rico, as well as traveling to other islands, which would require a negotiated fee.

Jerry Van Buren's Bio

I am a retired educator that worked for many years with DODEA on a military base in Puerto Rico. I have been metal detecting for over 25 years and have found countless items of value, many of these items returned to the rightful owners. The detector I use is of the latest technology and can be used on land as well as water to a depth of 250 feet. With all this said, helping people find what they lost is one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. Seeing how happy people are when a valued lost item is handed over to them that they thought was gone forever, is priceless. Thus, if you find yourself with a loss and need the services of an experienced person who knows how to grid detect, please contact me ASAP, so I can assist you in finding your lost valuable.

Jerry was very knowledgeable of the area and beaches. He was able to find my ring in quick order.
