Cost For My Service

I work on a reward basis, meaning that you pay me what you can afford and what it's worth to you to have me come out and find your lost item. There will be a call out fee of $40 to cover my time, fuel expense, parking, etc. whether or not your item is found.

If you want a search done for lost currency, gold or silver, the recovery cost will be negotiated prior to the search. You can give me a call to discuss.

You can call or text me day or night 24/7, but due to the amount of spam calls I receive, texting me first will be a better option since I don't usually answer calls that I don't recognize. If you prefer to leave a voicemail that will be fine too or I'll call you back if I see a missed call.

Search Types

Land and Shallow Water Search. Beaches, parks, athletic fields, properties, (yards, woods, etc.), and other areas where jewelry, keys or any other metallic valuables may have been lost. Permission must be granted before searching for an item that is lost if it is lost on private property.

Metal detecting is prohibited and National and State parks, but permission can usually be obtained from the park services on a Case by case basis.

Search Locations

Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Beaufort NC and surrounding areas. I am willing to travel depending on the situation which we can discuss.

I've been a native North Carolina boy for 51 years and I've thoroughly enjoyed living here. In the last few years I became interested in the presence of soldiers during the Civil War right out of my back door.

I started hunting for Civil War relics with great success and my love for detecting expanded from there. That being said, I have served and protected the great people of this state for over 20 years.

I now would like to continue to serve and help you to be reunited with your lost item whether it be sentimental, keys, buried treasure or anything else metallic that you would like recovered.

I've been detecting for the last few years for pleasure and now I would like to use what I've learned to reconnect you with what has been lost.

All properties have a history, including my own, and I was very surprised what I have found on my and my family's property where generations of my relatives once lived. So if you're curious about what is beneath the surface that you walk on day to day, give me a call.
