Cost For My Service

I work on a ''reward basis.'' That means you pay what it's worth to you and what you can afford if I find your lost item.

With the high gas prices, I have a call-out fee of $25 whether or not I find your item. This covers my fuel.

If I find the item, we'll need to take a celebration photo to post on this website.

If you are looking for buried gold, silver or cash, I work on a percentage or flat fee that will be negotiated prior to the search. Call to discuss.

Search Types

Parks, yards, beaches, private property, all over. I can search in up to 5 feet of water.

IMPORTANT: You must have a general idea of where the item was lost and the location must be searchable. You will need to secure permission for me to hunt the location.

Will search properties for buried cash, gold or silver or other items.

Search Locations

Have metal detector, will travel. My range is within 60 miles of Springfield but I am willing to travel to help you recover your lost ring or jewelry. I also regularly travel to northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan.

I have been metal detecting since 1999. Needless to say, I enjoy the hobby very much. I have found and returned five lost gold rings to their owners (three here in Springfield, one near Rockford and one in Pensacola, Fla.). I want to do more recoveries because I love helping people and it is awesome to see the happiness returning their item brings to them.
