Cost For My Service

I work on a reward basis — meaning you decide what the recovered item is worth to you. A modest call-out fee may apply to help cover fuel depending on distance and circumstances. I always confirm expectations clearly before beginning any search.

Search Types

Lost ring and jewelry recovery in parks, yards, fields, farmsteads, low- to moderate-depth water, and other public or private properties with permission. I also assist with locating property markers when requested.

Search Locations

Omaha and the surrounding metro area, as well as all of Cass County and the Nebraska City area. Travel available based on distance.

Hi, I’m Alex. I live in Plattsmouth and have always been drawn to history, meaningful objects, and the stories they carry. That curiosity turned into a passion for helping others recover items that hold real sentimental value — things that can’t easily be replaced.

I take pride in my integrity, patience, and dedication, and I bring the same care to each search that I would if it were my own belongings at stake. Being able to reunite someone with something they thought was lost forever is what drives me — there’s nothing better than seeing that moment of relief and joy.

Outside of metal detecting, I’m a father, a history enthusiast, and someone who values family, community, and leaving a positive impact on those around me. My goal is simple: to make sure what matters to you has the best chance of being found.

    I found Alex on TheRingFinders, and texted him in a panic, trying to find my husband's wedding band outside buried somewhere in the snow.

    Alex quickly responded with compassion and expertise. He offered to drive the thirty minutes to us right away, and talked through every step of his process with us. He was very clear, and very kind.

    He spent almost an hour in the bitter cold, explaining what he was doing and why. He kept very cool despite how stressed we were. He was able to find our ring and reunite the set!
