Jake was enjoying a day of golf and hanging out with friends at a local club. When finished golfing they went over to a dock on one of Minnesota’s beautiful 10,000 lakes. It was a nice hot day and they decided to jump in the water and cool off. While in the lake, Jake noticed his Gold Wedding Band was loose and slipping off his finger. He caught it in time and quickly got out of the water. He didn’t tell his buddies that was the reason he got out and before he could say anything, one friend « tackled » him back into the water. As Jake surfaced he noticed right away his ring had slipped off. As always, telling his wife Ashley about it was hard to do. Both Jake & Ashley started to search online for help and googled « how to find a lost ring in the water ». My profile from theringfinders.com came right up. We discussed how the ring was lost and what it would take for recovery and we planned to meet up in a couple days. I met both of them at the dock and started my scuba search. Right away I was getting hits on my detector from pipes, pipe stands, cans, old boat horn etc. I was really worried because there was so much junk right in the spot he was in, not to mention the muck & weeds. I piled up a bunch of trash in one spot so I could continue the search, luckily his ring was the very next « hit » on my detector. Congrats Jake & Ashley, glad I could help out.
Take Care –
Darrin
