Wedding Ring Found In Backyard, Nashville, MI

  • from Holland (Michigan, United States)

Kerry sent me a text stating her father(Gary)lost his wedding ring around the end of October. He was throwing grass clippings out of his mower bag into the long grass outside the mowed grass. They had cut the grass in the suspected area and also used a metal detector with no luck. I met David, son of Gary, at the site and I gave him another detector to help me search. After about a 1/2 hr with no luck, David had to leave and I stayed around to expand the search area. Shorty after I found the ring about 4 feet outside the area they had mowed down and cleared. In the picture the ring was found right at the end of my coil on the metal detector. The timing of this find is kind of special because on Dec 11th Gary and Kathleen will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. I called David and met him later to hand over the ring and he would deliver the ring to his Dad. What a way to brighten your day, it sure did mine.
