Mike was rubbing bug lotion off his hands while standing on the dock behind his sailboat. His wife who was in the sailboat heard a small splash and Mike realized he had slid his gold anniversary ring off his finger into the water. They found our SRARC Ring Finders website and contacted Howard Metts. Howard and his wife Jeanine came out two days later with their hookah dive rig to search for the ring in 10-11 feet of water. With zero visibility and 4 inches of silt on the bottom, Howard came up with the ring using his hand held metal detector. Mike and his wife Joselyn were amazed to see the ring again!

Ring Recovered In Anclote Key

Howard Metts received a call from a Jeweler who had a client that just lost a ring he had made. He had found our SRARC Ringfinders website and was hoping we could help. Howard contacted the owner who stated the ring was in a koozie on the boat while anchored off Anclote key and found its way overboard. Howard scheduled a hunt for the next day. The team of four Howard Metts, Dimitur Alipiev, Ed Osmar, and Rob Clarke hunted for about 3 hours in the water. Finally Howard came up with the beautiful ring! The owners were both amazed and very thankful for the recovery. Great job Team!
