Lost Platinum Wedding Ring Recovered in Beresford Park
While enjoying the many amenities of Beresford Park, (located on 28th Street at Alameda de Las Pulgas) Ron paused to apply sunscreen to his young nephew. Moments later he noticed his platinum wedding ring was missing!
His clever wife posted the incident in the Lost & Found section of our Beresford Nextdoor.com community website. After a few emails back and forth I was able to learn the general whereabouts in the park to search. Within an hour of searching the sawdust covered play area I located a handful of coins, a few pull tabs, and Ron’s gorgeous platinum ring!
A few emails later I agreed to meet Ron and his wife at the park, where I showed them where I found his ring, buried under about 2 inches of sawdust, and returned it to Ron. He had given up on ever seeing his ring again and was extremely happy to get it back!
Ron’s gorgeous ring was stamped « PLAT 960 » meaning that it is 96% pure platinum.
