Syd Kanten's Bio

Numerous years ago, I worked as a line locator. I would find and mark out buried oilfield pipelines and facilities, gas lines, telephone lines, buried power lines etc. I always had an interest in metal detecting, accompanying my father, when I was a kid. About 7 to 10 years ago, my wife give me my first metal detector for Christmas! Detecting has been a hobby ever since. I love to search for anything metallic, with this enthusiasm, for detecting, I wish to offer a service to those in need of it.
