Stephanie Hobbs's Bio
I have been detecting for a little over a year but so far have 9 ring returns in under a year. I have had a great teacher Jeff Lubbert who covers the Denver area and if circumstances allow we detect and search together. So you may get 2 of us for the price of one! Under Jeff’s 47 years of detecting experience I can say I have learned from one of the best. I am a member of Eureka treasure hunting club in Colorado. Ring returns are my favorite thing about metal detecting!

My first zirconium ring. Derek lost his wedding ring while walking his dog Max, this morning. He walked me through his path explaining his stops along the way. About 20’ from the start of his walk he shook some tree branches that were hanging down to the ground from the heavy snow we got. My […]

Claddaugh ring lost, recovered and returned in Boulder, Co (2026)
Olive lost her gold claddagh ring. She walked up to her friends house, as she approached the door she waved excitedly and felt the ring fly off. I should have taken a pic of the whole front yard but as you can see how thick the greenery and ivy were. She rented a metal detector […]
