Cost For My Service

I work on a ''Reward Basis'' you pay what it's worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item. I have a call-out fee of $25.00 if the item is not found, this covers my fuel expenses. (Maybe more or less depending on where you are located)

Search Types

I search beaches, parks, lakes and yards, anywhere you need my help to find what you've lost. Lost something in the water? I can provide shallow water searches up to chest deep.

Search Locations

Lancaster Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas.

    After looking high, low and everywhere in between for nearly a week in search of my wedding band, we came up empty handed. I was almost certain I’d lost it while my wife and I were bagging leaves in our front yard the previous Saturday.

    A neighbor suggested that we rent a metal detector from the local tool rental, and so we did. No luck. Easier said than done. The last-ditch effort was a Google search for “detectorist in my area” which led me to this site[theringfinders.com] where I found a link to Matthew’s profile.

    I texted him and he called me within an hour to arrange a time to search the property. He came out on a Saturday morning and actually spent three hours searching. About an hour and a half in I thought maybe I’d sent him on a wild goose chase.

    He was pretty confident though and ultimately found the ring in a spot that was at least 50' from the area I originally thought I’d lost it in. Matthew is a great guy with genuine positive energy and an obvious knack for finding stuff with a metal detector.

    If you’ve lost something of value in your yard, a park, etc., and have a reasonable(or not so reasonable) idea of where it is, chances are pretty good this guy will find it.

    "After a long search in a steady drizzle, Matthew was able to find my wife's ring! It had been lost over a year ago in one of our flower beds and someone else had attempted to find it to no avail. As we were discussing sifting mulch and dirt that was in the middle of a window well as a last-ditch effort, he did one final search nearby, and VOILA! there was the ring! We surprised my wife and got some photos. I would highly recommend Matthew for his experience, professionalism, dedication, friendliness and care, and understanding.
